ShaderWeather is a 3D visualizer binded to your local weather data.

The 3D artwork will behave differently based on temperature, air quality and weather conditions.

In this way the same artwork can have a lot of different variants and can be unique for your local weather.

Use it as a screensaver, an artwork piece on a big screen or install it on your device thanks to PWA capabilities.

What is AQI?

AQI stands for "Air Quality Index". It goes from 0 to 150+. 0 is very good, more than 150 is very unhealthy.

How is this made?

Nuxt.js, three.js, custom shaders and various weather API. This app does not collect any type of data.

How frequently the base artwork will change?

Almost every month the artwork will be replaced with a fresh one. Looking for 3D artists collaborations to build a huge visual archive!
